Multicultural Scholarship

Kuyper College offers Multicultural Scholarships to selected first-year students.  Several Multicultural Scholarships of $500-$5000 are awarded annually.

Students awarded the Multicultural Scholarship may renew each year if the recipient has maintained at least a 2.0 GPA.  Recipients of the Multicultural scholarship are expected to use their talents at Kuyper College by involvement in student leadership

(i.e. academic clubs, student organizations, etc.), and work on development of academic, spiritual and social leadership skills.

Selection Criteria

Selection for this award is based on the student’s academic record (minimum GPA of 2.5),
leadership involvement, quality of the application essay, as well as the student’s ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic background.  Many recipients are North American ethnic minority students, but some awards may also be given to other students from the U.S. demonstrating ethnic and cultural sensitivity.
